No one had ever heard of the Heroes truck until Dale Ison’s debut show in Las Vegas. By the end of the first day of the show, the truck was already receiving more attention than Mr. Ison could have ever envisioned.
The Heroes truck took over five years to complete. Builders John Watts and Steve Garvie put in 50,000 man-hours, and Mickey Harris spent a total of 1,200 hours on the incredible artwork.
I got the opportunity to see the Heroes truck and meet Dale Ison at the set up of the World of Wheels, Chattanooga last month. The artwork on the truck was breathtaking, to say the least.
